कश्मीर पर पाकिस्तान से तनाव के बीच प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी जल्द ही सऊदी अरब का दौरा करने वाले हैं। इससे पहले राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा सलाहकार अजीत डोभाल सऊदी अरब और फिर संयुक्त अरब अमीरात (UAE) का दौरा कर चुके हैं। इसे द्विपक्षीय संबंधों को मजबूत बनाने के साथ-साथ कश्मीर पर पाकिस्तान के प्रोपेगैंडा को विफल करने की कोशिशों और भारत द्वारा अपना पक्ष रखने के तौर पर देखा जा रहा है।
पाकिस्तान के प्रधानमंत्री इमरान खान ने पाकिस्तान के अधिकृत कश्मीर (PoK) के निवासियों को कश्मीरियों को 'मानवीय सहायता या समर्थन देने के लिए' नियंत्रण रेखा (LoC) पार नहीं करने की चेतावनी दी है।
