ब्रिटेन में आम चुनाव की घोषणा के साथ ही पीएम ऋषि सुनक को एक नई समस्या से जूझना पड़ रहा है। सत्ताधारी कंजर्वेटिव पार्टी में लगातार सासंदों का इस्तीफा जारी है। हाल ही में टोरी पार्टी के पुराने नेता माइकल गोव और आंड्रे लिडसम ने राजनीति को अलविदा कह दिया है। इसके साथ ही सुनक की पार्टी में राजनीति से संन्यास लेने वाले कुल सांसदों की संख्या 78 हो गई है। माइकल गोव से पहले रक्षा मंत्री बेन वालेस, पूर्व पीएम थेरेसा मे, साजिद जाविद, डोमिनिक राब, मैट हैनकॉक, नदीम जहावी जैसे दिग्गजों ने भी अगला आम चुनाव लड़ने से मना कर चुके हैं।2010 के आम चुनाव के बाद ये सबसे बड़ी संख्या है। ब्रिटिश संसद में हाउस ऑफ कॉमन्स में कुल 650 सांसद हैं। अब तक कुल 122 ब्रिटिश सासंदों ने अगला चुनाव लड़ने से इनकार कर दिया है।इसलिए ऐसा नहीं कहा जा सकता है कि सिर्फ टोरी सांसद ही अगला चुनाव लड़ने को लेकर अनिच्छुक हैं। एलन व्हाइटहेड और हैरिट हर्मन सहित कुल 22 विपक्षी लेबर पार्टी के भी कई सांसदों ने चुनाव लड़ने से मना कर दिया है। इससे पहले 2019 में ये आंकड़ा 74 था। 2017 के आम चुनाव से पहले सिर्फ 31 और 2015 के चुनाव से पहले 90 सांसदों ने फिर से चुनाव न लड़ने का ऐलान किया था।ब्रिटिश सांसदों के इस्तीफा देने की कई वजहें हैं। पहली सबसे बड़ी वजह देश में कंजरवेटिव पार्टी की खराब स्थिति है। कई टोरी सांसदों इस बात को लेकर आश्वस्त हैं कि यदि वे अगला चुनाव लड़ते हैं तो वे हार जाएंगे। ऐसे में उनका फिर से चुनाव लड़ना का मूड नहीं है।इसके अलावा एक अहम कारण कई सांसदों की बढ़ती उम्र है। कई सांसद अपनी बढ़ती उम्र की वजह से फिर से चुनाव न लड़ने का मन बना चुके हैं। हालांकि, कुछ सांसद ऐसे भी हैं जिनकी उम्र 30 साल से भी कम है मगर वे फिर चुनाव लड़ना नहीं चाहते।डिहेना एंडरसन (30), निकोला रिचर्ड्स(29), माइरी ब्लैक(29) ने चुनाव न लड़ने का फैसला किया है। कुछ सांसदों ने किसी और पेशे में बेहतर करियर के लिए राजनीति को छोड़ दिया है तो कुछ सासंदों ने तनाव भरी राजनीति से दूर रहने के लिए अगला चुनाव न लड़ने का फैसला किया है।कंजरवेटिव सांसद स्टुअर्ट एंडरसन ने आए दिन मिल रही हिंसक धमकियों की वजह से राजनीति छोड़ दी। उन्होंने कहा कि सांसदी एक अच्छी जॉब है मगर इसमें बेहद तनाव का सामना करना पड़ता है।इससे पहले 2010 में सबसे अधिक 149 सासंदों ने इस्तीफा दे दिया था। इतनी बड़ी संख्या में ब्रिटिश सांसदों के इस्तीफे की मुख्य वजह संसद खर्चा घोटाला था। इस घोटाले में यह खुलासा हुआ था कि कई सांसदों ने अपने भत्तों और खर्चों का फर्जी दावा किया था।इस घोटाले ने तब ब्रिटिश राजनीति में एक बड़ी हलचल पैदा कर दी थी और वे जनता के बीच काफी अलोकप्रिय हो गए थे। यही कारण था कि कई सांसदों ने अपनी प्रतिष्ठा बचाने या राजनीतिक दबाव के कारण इस्तीफा दे दिया था।इससे पहले 1997 में 117 सांसदों ने पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया है। इसमें सबसे अधिक सत्ताधारी लेबर पार्टी से 75 लेबर सांसदों ने पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया था। दरअसल उन्होंने ऐसा स्कॉटिश संसद के चुनावों में हिस्सा लेने के लिए किया था।यह कदम तत्कालीन टॉनी ब्लेयर की लेबर सरकार द्वारा पारित विकेंद्रीकरण कानून के तहत लिया गया था, जिसका उद्देश्य स्कॉटलैंड में लेबर पार्टी की राजनीतिक उपस्थिति को मजबूत करना था।

लखनऊ, प्रदेश की अर्थव्यवस्था को 01 ट्रिलियन डॉलर इकोनॉमी बनाने में ऊर्जा एवं नगर विकास विभाग का होगा महत्वपूर्ण योगदानप्रदेश में औद्योगिक विकास के लिए मांग के अनुरूप विद्युत का ढांचागत विकास किया जाए-ऊर्जा मंत्रीऔद्योगिक विकास में गति लाने के लिए अर्बन सेक्टर को रिफॉर्म करें-नगर विकास मंत्रीश्री ए0के0 शर्मा ने विभागीय अधिकारियों को निर्धारित लक्ष्य के अनुरूप कार्ययोजना बनाने के दिये निर्देश। प्रदेश की अर्थव्यवस्था को आगामी वर्षों में 01 ट्रिलियन डॉलर इकोनॉमी बनाने के लक्ष्य में ऊर्जा एवं नगर विकास विभाग का भी महत्वपूर्ण योगदान होगा। किसी भी प्रदेश के औद्योगिक विकास में वहां की बेहतरीन विद्युत व्यवस्था और आदर्श नगरीय जीवन का बहुत बड़ा रोल रहा है। प्रदेश में औद्योगिक विकास को गति मिले, इसके लिए मांग के अनुरूप विद्युत का ढांचागत विकास करना होगा। साथ ही निर्धारित लक्ष्य के अनुरूप कार्ययोजना बनाकर तेजी से इस पर कार्य करना होगा। औद्योगिक विकास में गति लाने के लिए अर्बन सेक्टर को भी रिफार्म करना होगा। सभी अधिकारी इस दृष्टि से कार्ययोजना बनाकर तेजी से इस पर कार्य करें। जिससे कि मा0 प्रधानमंत्री जी के देश की 05 ट्रिलियन डॉलर इकोनॉमी बनाने के संकल्प में प्रदेश के 01 ट्रिलियन डॉलर इकोनॉमी के योगदान को पूरा किया जा सके। नगर विकास एवं ऊर्जा मंत्री श्री ए0के0 शर्मा बुधवार को जल निगम के फील्ड हास्टल संगम में प्रदेश की अर्थव्यवस्था को 01 ट्रिलियन डॉलर इकोनॉमी बनाने में नगर विकास और ऊर्जा विभाग के योगदान को लेकर अपने दोनों विभागों और योजना एवं कार्यक्रम क्रियान्वयन विभाग के अधिकारियों के साथ बैठक कर चर्चा की और प्रजेन्टेसन देखा। उन्होंने ऊर्जा विभाग के अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिये कि प्रदेश में संभावित औद्योगिक विकास के दृष्टिगत बढ़ी हुई मांग के अनुरूप विद्युत व्यवस्था का ढांचागत विकास किया जाए। सभी डिस्कॉम में उद्योगों की मांग के अनुरूप विद्युत तंत्र बनाया जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि विद्युत संबंधी उपकरणों को बनाने वाली कम्पनियों को प्रदेश में उद्योग लगाने के लिए प्रोत्साहित भी किया जाए। जिससे कि इन उपकरणों का प्रदेश में ही उत्पादन हो सके। प्रदेश की प्रति व्यक्ति आय को बढ़ाने के लिए अन्य प्रदेशों की भंाति विद्युत उपभोग को बढ़ाना होगा। प्रदेश सरकार सौर ऊर्जा को बढ़ावा दे रही है। आने वाले समय में विद्युत के घरेलू उपभोग को इससे पूरा किया जा सकेगा। बेहतर विद्युत आपूर्ति के लिए उन्होंने लाइनलास को कम करने तथा राजस्व बढ़ाने के भी निर्देश दिए।नगर विकास मंत्री श्री ए0के0 शर्मा ने नगर विकास विभाग के अधिकारियों को अर्बन सेक्टर की व्यवस्था में भी तेजी से सुधार करने के निर्देश दिये। अर्बन सेक्टर में रिफार्म से और नगरीय जीवन बेहतर होने से औद्योगिक विकास में तेजी आयेगी। इसके लिए नगरों को साफ-सुथरा और प्रदूषण मुक्त बनाना होगा। प्रदेश की डीजीपी में अर्बन सेक्टर का 65 प्रतिशत योगदान है। जिसको प्राप्त करने के लिए नगरों के वातावरण, वैज्ञानिक, तकनीकी और शैक्षणिक गतिविधियों के विकास में तेजी से कार्य करना होगा। ऐसी योजनाओं पर विशेष ध्यान देना होगा, जिन्हें जल्द से जल्द पूरा किया जा सके। उन्होंने अपने दोनों विभागों के अधिकारियों को औद्योगिक विकास विभाग के साथ समन्वय बनाकर दिये गये लक्ष्य के अनुरूप कार्य योजना बनाकर कार्य करने के निर्देश दिये। बैठक में प्रमुख सचिव ऊर्जा श्री नरेन्द्र भूषण, प्रमुख सचिव नगर विकास श्री अमृत अभिजात, प्रमुख सचिव योजना एवं कार्यक्रम क्रियान्वयन श्री आलोक कुमार, चेयरमैन यूपीपीसीएल श्री आशीष गोयल, सचिव नगर विकास श्री अजय कुमार शुक्ला, प्रबंध निदेशक यूपीपीसीएल श्री पंकज कुमार, निदेशक नेडा श्री अनुपम शुक्ला सहित अन्य अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।

Namma Metro, Bangalore’s metro network, has achieved a three-fold increase in profit before depreciation and reduced its pre-tax loss by over Rs 350 crore in the financial year 2023-24.
